The boys and I hiked the Pioneer Mothers Memorail Forest Trail in May of 2014. Conner was 7 at the time and Maddox was 3. The hike is an easy hike. Half of the trail from State Road 150 is an old paved access road. The other half is a dirt trail. The boys really thought the rock wall, about half way between State Roads 150 & 37, was really cool. The forest itself is full of very old trees. The boys liked the hike, but we didn't go all the way through the trail. We just went to the rock wall and back. This hike is good for any aged child.
